i have been in the habit of loudly calling out on even the Northern Line, “Hello everyone, have a good day today”

perhaps adding “this is the first day of the rest of your life – have fun and meaning”… well actually the second callout is for those who look up and smile.

A couple of years ago, it was to then ask them “what do you value most?” – who would want to talk about the weather when there is a life in front of you.

And i will tell myself that whatever discomfort and embarrassment i feel showing in my cheeks, is just my jackal interfering, because i know my inner self just wants to connect, and it’s just my ego and jackal telling me a story that it’s embarrassing and risky…. and so i laugh “of course it’s not – all they want to do is the same!!”

sometimes my playing and humour looks like clowning.
It’s not so much experimenting with curiosity, but being as openly direct and honestly curious (i.e egoless) to minimise risk of appearing a risky weirdo. Sure, most subsequent unsolicited inquiry risks being felt as weirdo, so I either respond to those who look up and smile, or I continue to wish everyone well in the same manner.
